All orders placed online with us are taken and transmitted directly to SagePay, our payment gateway, using a secure connection provided by Streamline, which is part of the Royal Bank of Scotland. We do not store your card details and they cannot be seen by any employees within Staircase Warehouse or SagePay.

SagePay are our Payment Service Providers and authorise payment with your Bank or Building Society. SagePay handle online credit and debit card transactions for thousands of online retailers. All communication between SagePay and staircasewarehouse.com is done using 256-bit SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) certification.

How to check you're Secured

The easiest way to be sure your online transaction is safe is to look for the locked padlock icon in your web browser's URL bar. When you see the locked padlock it is telling you two things:

1) The site you are using has a verified SSL certificate which is valid and usable.

2) Your browser has accepted the SSL certificate and has triggered encryption of data between your computer and our site.
