What is it?

A box containing a 1200mm length of handrail (bendable so that it can be curved or straight), 10 balusters, a 90° handrail joint, a support brace, a wall bracket and fixings. All of which match the Civik spiral stair.

What does it do?

The parts supplied form a section of landing balustrade (curved or straight) which matches the Civik spiral stair. A landing balustrade is a guarding which protects the edge of the stairwell or the side of a mezzanine floor.

How does it work?

The balusters sit in metal cups that are screwed on top of the finished floor. The balusters are connected to the handrail. In turn the handrail can either be joined to other handrail sections to form longer lengths of balustrade, or can be cut and capped off. Extra support comes from braces, wall brackets and connecting clamps which connect to the balusters.

What do I need to order?

Each landing balustrade kit is 1200mm long and contains 10 balusters. You need to order enough kits to protect any exposed floor edges you may have. When measuring please bear in mind that the centre line of the balustrade needs to be at least 80mm from the landing edge.
