What is it?

A box containing a 1200mm length of handrail, a 90° handrail joint, 5 balusters, a support brace, a wall bracket and fixings. All of which match the Kya space saver stair.

What does it do?

The parts supplied form a section of straight landing balustrade which matches the Kya space saver stair. A landing balustrade is a guarding which protects the edge of the stairwell or the side of a mezzanine floor.

How does it work?

The balusters sit in metal cups that are screwed on top of the finished floor. The balusters are connected to the handrail. In turn the handrail can either be joined to other handrail sections to form longer lengths of balustrade, or can be cut and capped off. Extra support comes from braces, wall brackets and connecting clamps which connect to the balusters.

How does it fit?

Each riser bar fits to each individual tread and a spindle.

What do I get in each kit?

Each kit contains eleven U shaped riser bars and the necessary fixings for the Kya space saving stair.

What do I need to order?

Each landing balustrade kit is 1200mm long and contains 5 balusters. You need to order enough kits to protect any exposed floor edges you may have. When measuring please bear in mind that the centre line of the balustrade needs to be at least 80mm from the landing edge.
