What is it?

A box containing handrail, balusters, cables and fixings. All of which combine to form a raking balustrade to match the Kya space saver stair.

What does it do?

This extra raking balustrade is in addition to that which comes as part of the Kya stair kit as standard. The Kya comes with a raking balustrade for one side of the stair only and this extra kit is intended for use on the other side of the stair if both sides need guarding.

How does it work?

The balusters are fixed to the stair treads with plastic brackets. The balusters are connected to the handrail. In turn the handrail can either be bracketed to a baluster from a landing balustrade or cut and capped off.

What do I need to order?

You need to order just one of kits if you are using just the main Kya stair kit and possibly two if you have bought extra treads. If you have bought extra treads please consult a member of our sales staff before purchasing two of these kits as in some circumstances (depending on the layout you are using) the second set is not required.
